Henry Lucian Aubin, age 81, passed away June 15, 2014 in Lake Havasu
City. Henry was born Nov. 17, 1932 in Bakersfield, Calif. to parents,
Henri Lucian and Mary Alice Aubin.
After graduating high school, he joined the US Air Force where he served
for four years from 1950 to 1954. After working at Amarillo Air Force
Base as an aircraft mechanic, he worked at Lockheed and eventually
retired from Sempra Energy. Henry then moved to Lake Havasu City, where
he loved to golf and fish, and was a member of many service
organizations to include the Eagles, the Elks Lodge, the American Legion
and the Moose Lodge. He was a kind, loving, gentle man who loved to
laugh and joke. He had a great sense of humor! He touched many hearts,
in so many ways, and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Bobby Aubin. He
is survived by his companion, Janett Shepherd; his daughter, Lucinda
(Paul) Pleis of Bakersfield, Calif.; Darryl, Danny, and Bryanna of
Bakersfield, Calif.; his sister, Betty Joe (Gordon) Littlejohn of Reno,
Nev.; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and
nephews, and a full extended family with Janett; Kim Stubbs, Tammy
Stearns, Cassie and Joe Dooley and Josiah Gillian of Boise, Idaho; Cheri
and Nicole Bathhurst of Lake Havasu City; Patricia and Tyler Kruz and
Anthony Dean Brown of Phoenix.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m., Sunday at the Lake Havasu City
Eagles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made
