Kenneth Rufus Seifers, also known to his family as Thumper, was born on
Oct. 22, 1947, to Kenneth and Dorthy Seifers, in Ely, Nev. He passed
away June 14, 2014, in Kingman, where he has lived for about 27 years.
He served in the Army during Vietnam War. In 2001, he retired from State
Farm Insurance, where he was an adjuster.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents; his sisters, Judy
Trujillo and Tina Seifers; and son James Parker.
He is survived by his wife, Irene of Kingman; son, Matt Timko of Reno,
Nev.; daughter, Diana Spencer of Dayton, Ohio; brother, Ted Seifers of
Milford, Utah; sisters, Linda Hansen of Kingman and Cookie Lynn of
Odessa, Texas; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; seven
nieces; and seven nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, June 30, in the First
Southern Baptist Church on Hualapai Road.
