Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona September 21, 1993, Page 2B, Col. 3 Joe Aldrete Jr. Joe Aldrete Jr. died Sept. 19, 1993, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Prescott. He was born June 10, 1930, in Prescott to Joe and Francisca Hernandez. Until his retirement in 1990; Mr. Aldrete worked in construction all his life. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Prescott Acrie No. 3600 and the AFL-CIO. Aldrete enjoyed hunting, fishing, darts and pool. He is survived by five sisters, Theresa Nalbach of Prescott, Sarah Litka of Prescott, Bertha Frias of Prescott, Elizabeth Ramos of Covina, Calif. and Josephine Garcia of Los Angelas; two brothers, Ernie Aldrete of Phoenix and Amado Aldrete of Tucson; three sons, Joseph, Phillip and Mario of Phoenix; four daughters, Victoria, Terrie and Veronica of Phoenix and Monica of South Dakota; and numerous nieces and nephews and grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, at the Hampton Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated with Jack Hencier at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Veterans Administration Chapel, before the internment at the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
