The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/01/2014 Elmer Dahkoshay Jr. entered into rest May 26, 2014 in Whiteriver. He was born Feb. 24, 1988 in Phoenix. Elmer is survived by his mother, Carol Mae Dahkoshay; father Elmer Dahkoshay Sr.; brothers: Delmer Dahkoshay Sr., Stewart Edwards, Emerson Dahkoshay, Elliott Dahkoshay; sisters: Merri Krista Dahkoshay, Elma Dahkoshay; paternal grandmother Emma June Truax; maternal grandmothers: Anita Cheney, Louise Pinal; paternal grandfather Rafeal Zahgotah; maternal grandfather Manuel Edwards and many relative and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Wren Cheney; cousins: Joseph Thomas “Noki”, Carlos Thomas “CJ”, Wendell Tessler “MayMay”. Elmer’s body was brought home to his residence May 30 for a two night wake in Whiteriver. Funeral services were held June 1 at the Open Bible Lutheran Church in Whiteriver with Pastor Joel Sutton officiating. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery. Manzanita Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
