Lake Havasu City resident Harold Edward Johnson died June 27, 2014
following a brief illness. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by
his family who loved him dearly.
Service will be Wednesday, July 2 at 1:30 p.m., at Mount Olive Lutheran
church.
Harold (Harry) was born in Crosby, Minn., April 5, 1927, to Alfred (Hub)
and Wilhelmina (Minnie) Poppy Johnson. He had three sisters, Mardelle
(Mardie), Eileen and Betty and two brothers, Dilton and Charles (Chuck).
He was born and raised in Crosby, Minn. He married Kathleen Ann Coleman,
Dec. 18, 1949.
Kathy preceded him in death in 1997. Together they had five girls Cherie
(Dino) McMahon of Edina, Minn., Theresa Johnson of Tulsa, Okla., Eileen
(Jeffrey) Johnson Buhmiller of Lake Havasu City, Jody Johnson Wheeler of
Puyallup, Wash. and Mary (Ray) Aldridge of Kingman.
He had 10 grandchildren, Mathew and Marcus Middleton, Morgan and Will
Dunham, Damion and Dustin Habeck, Sam Samuels and Katie Wheeler, Allyse
and Taylor Aldridge; along with 15 great-grandchildren.
Harold moved his family to Lake Havasu City in 1973. He quickly began a
career in real estate, which he continued into his eighties. He was
known as the longest broker’s license holder in real estate within Lake
Havasu City.
He was a dedicated family man and enjoyed every moment he was able to
share.
He had multiple profession accomplishments and made many lifelong
friends through his real estate career.
