The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/03/2014 Fidencio L. Moya died Thursday, June 26, 2014, at his home in Springerville. He was born April 28, 1935 in Aragon, N.M., the son of David Moya and Josefa Lucero. Fidencio was a heavy equipment operator for South West Forest Ind., retiring in 1989. He loved visiting with everyone and enjoyed making new friends. He enjoyed going to Belen, New Mexico every year. He was a great family man who loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Fidencio is survived by his wife, Jennie C. Moya of Springerville; sons:David (Rebeca) Moya of Phoenix; Eddie (Sonya) Moya of Safford; Andrew (Tracy) Moya of Chandler; daughters: Suzanne Ely of Springerville; Theresa (Clayton) Jumper of Springerville; sister Charlotte (Pete) Castillo of Greer; 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Lou Castillo and Suzanna Moya, brother Salmon Moya, two grandchildren, Jennifer Barreras and Jeremy Jumper. A Rosary was held July 1 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Springerville with visitation one hour prior. A funeral mass was held July 2 also at the church. Interment followed the mass at the Springerville Cemetery.
