GILGEN, Rudolf


Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ Published on July 3, 2014 - Rudolf Gilgen passed away on June 8, 2014, in Kingman. He was 84 years old. Rudolf was born Jan. 30, 1930, in Salt Lake City to Jhon and Emma Gilgen. Rudolf worked hard from an early age. He joined the Army when he was old enough. He was honorably discharged in 1951. The family moved to San Francisco, where Rudolf worked for the Federal Reserve Bank. In the early 1970s, Rudolf moved to Kingman. Rudolf bought several houses. He was a master carpenter and a master mechanic. He loved to work on anything. Rudolf was a great man and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Gilgen of Kingman, and his brother, Ronold Gilgen of Kingman. He is also survived by a nephew, Richard Gilgen; a niece, Rhonda Verbanic of Lebanon, Ohio; and three granddaughters, Caitlynn and Carly Gilgen, and Emma Verbanic.
