Charles Slater of Congress, died Nov. 24 in Sun City West. He was 68. 

Mr. Slater was born April 28, 1928 in Creston, Iowa. He had lived in Arizona for the past five years. 

Survivors include his children, Judy Griffith of Renton, Wash. and Max Slater of Renton, and Raymond Slater of Kent, Wash; and grandchildren Kenny Slater, James Johnson and Sandy and Robert Griffith. 

Private services will be held at a later date.
