Glenn Harmon III, 56, died Monday, June 30, 2014, at Flagstaff Medical Center of complication due to a prolonged illness. He was born August 3, 1957 in Winter Haven, Florida to W. Glenn Harmon Jr. and Beryl Sleater Harmon. On September 5, 1980 he married Linda Wilson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. He grew up in California, and attended BYU in Provo, UT. He then lived in California, Scottsdale and then moved to Flagstaff where he lived for 19 years. While in Flagstaff he worked for W.L. Gore for 14 years prior to his retirement. Glenn served a mission for The LDS Church in the Philippines and was an active and a faithful member throughout his life. He suffered through many illnesses with courage and humor. He is survived by his wife Linda Wilson Harmon, Daughter Jessica Harmon Martin and her husband Chad Martin of Springville, UT, sons Nicholas David Harmon and his wife Elizabeth Hellewell Harmon, of Provo, UT, Jordan Peter Harmon of Springville, UT, Zachary Ford Harmon of Flagstaff, AZ; four grandchildren Lily Christine Martin, Ella Rose Martin, Lincoln Jackman Martin and Rockwell Glenn Martin. Also surviving are his siblings Clifton Mark Harmon (Jill), of Concord, CA, Katie Johnson (Paul), of Belleview. WA, Stuart Sleater Harmon (Kym) of Amherst, NH, Michelle Anderson (David) of Draper, UT and Matthew Sleater Harmon (Tara) of Springville, TN. Funeral Services are Saturday, July 5th, at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lake Mary Building, 4165 Lake Mary Road. Visitation will be prior from 9:30 to 10:30.
