Jorgensen, age 74, of Bullhead City, Arizona formerly of La Crosse, Wis. passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, Calif. He was born in La Crosse on October 11,1939 to Robert and Mary (Loughn) Jorgensen. On November 26,1960 Charles married June Dearman at German Lutheran Church in La Crosse. Charles worked as an electrician for over 50 years retiring from Hewlett Packard. Charles was a member of the Kiwanis Club. He loved to travel, enjoyed wood working, and loved to tell stories. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was always very proud of his grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; two step-sisters; and one step-brother. He is survived by his loving wife, June; daughter, Susan (John Dornik) Jorgensen of Redwood City, Calif. and Carol Jorgensen of Bullhead City, Ariz.; and three grandchildren, Samuel, Thomas, and Emily Dornik. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Dickinson Family Funeral Home, 809 Gillette Street, La Crosse, Wis. with Pastor Scott Skogen officiating. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery. A memorial service in Bullhead City, Ariz. will be announced at a later date.
