Glenn N. Bain died peacefully on Monday June 30, 2014 at the Olivia White Hospice Home after a lengthy illness. Glenn was born on October 2, 1932 in Grady, NM. He worked for the BNSF railroad as a conductor for 36 years in NM and AZ. before retiring in 1990. He moved to Flagstaff in 1988 and has lived here for the past 26 years. Glenn enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. He was an active member at Trinity Heights Methodist Church until his health declined.
He was also a member with NRA.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Saundra J. Bain and his oldest son Charles E. Bain.
He is survived by his son Donald F. Bain, grandchildren Amber Banda (Mario), Charlie Bain (Ashley), great-grandchildren Mario and Lyla Banda, Lily Bain, daughter in-law Rita Bain, sister Beverly Highland and brother Donald Bain (Dolores).
Glenn was quick witted had a great sense of humor, loved giving hugs to those he met. Glenn was a caring, loving and gentle man and will be missed. Viewing will be held at 9:00am followed by a funeral at Trinity Heights Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Olivia White Hospice Home here in Flagstaff.
