Mary Rose Rayes-Cubitto, eldest of six, born to Syrian/Lebanese business pioneers Sam and Rose Reyes, left this earth June 15 to be with our Heavenly Father, at the age of 95, leaving with us the fondest of memories.

Mary was born in Globe, Ariz. on March 15, 1919. Her mother and father both built the Square Deal and Eagle grocery stores in Globe. 

Mary leaves behind one brother, Nicholas; one sister, Sandra (Sadie); one son, Andrew Coates; one daughter, Barbara Stinson; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Coates. 

Preceded in death are two brothers: Louis Rayes, former Mayor of Globe, and George Rayes; sister, Lillian Carey; and husband, Adolph J. Cubitto.

Services will be held at Holy Angels Catholic Church at 11a.m. on July 19th at 201 S. Broad St. in downtown Globe. A reception immediately following services will be held at a separate location near the church.
