(March 23, 1967 - July 14, 2014)
Bonnie Sue Poolheco, 47 years old, passed away on July 14, 2014 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated from Winslow High School where she excelled in basketball, softball, volleyball and band.
She graduated from Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute (SIPI) located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At SIPI she received her degree/certification for Optical Laboratory Technician.
Family and friends would refer to her kitchen as “Bonnie’s Café” because she was an excellent and fast cook. Bonnie had many roles in our lives; she was a caretaker of others and loved her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and always in our hearts and thoughts.
She leaves behind her husband, Arsenio Martinez Diaz, daughters, Tenea Poolheco-Yanez (Eliezer Abisai Yanez), Christina Poolheco, Ciara Poolheco, and granddaughters, Ericka Yanez and Lluvia Yanez; mother, Susie Ann Romero, father, Walter (Edna) Poolheco; brothers, Dedrick Romero, Tommy Romero, Ryan Baldwin, Shaun Baldwin, Tyson Poolheco, Anthony (Sandy) Poolheco; sisters, Deborah Egurolla, Sandra (Martin) Romero.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Christine S. Poolheco, nephew, Ismael Ochoa III, stepfather, Richard Romero, grandparents, David and Evelyn Poolheco and Jacob Fredericks Sr.
Visitation will be held at Norvel Owens Mortuary, 1505 W. 3rd Street, Winslow, AZ, 6-8pm MST, Thursday, July 17, 2014. Services to be held at Winslow Pentecostal Church of God & Indian Mission, 109 Alder Avenue (corner of Alder Avenue and First Street), Winslow, AZ at 10am MST on Friday, July 18, 2014.
Interment will follow at Desert View Cemetery, Winslow, AZ.
