Beloved angel Michael “Big Mike” Daffron of Show Low left this world July 10, 2014, and his loved ones to start a new journey. He was born July 15, 1947.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Colleen Daffron; two children, Michelle Pemberton and Jacque Daffron; two stepchildren, Shanna Lord and Jeremy O’Brien; granddaughter Brooklynn Lord. “We all love and miss him very much.”

God saw he was getting tired,
and a cure was not to be;
So He put His arms around him
and whispered, “Come with me.”
With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,
And saw him fade away;
Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest;
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best!

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at his home located at 1083 Rim View Dr. in Linden.
