WOLFE, Joseph B.


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, July 17, 2014 Command Sergeant Major Joseph B. Wolfe, 94, answered his final call of duty on Friday, July 11, 2014. He served his country, and his family, with distinction, surviving tours in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was born in Franklin, Tenn., on Nov. 11, 1919, soon after relocating to Santa Ana, Calif., where he held the high school 440 record for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, and granddaughter Christina. He is survived by sons Roger (Denise) and Roy, and four grandchildren, Jason (Kristin), Daniel (Ashley), Jordan and Garrett. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Samaritan Marley House, 1065 Ruth St., Prescott, AZ 86301. Private services will be held by the family in San Diego, Calif.
