PRUETT, Betty (Jo)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, July 17, 2014 Betty "Jo" Pruett danced her way into to her heavenly home on July 13, 2014. Jo was born in Wichita, Kan., on Nov. 25, 1937. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Elizabeth Pruett; stepchildren Linda and Michael Pruett; grandchildren Betsie, Rex, Michael, Heidi, Jennifer, David, Erica, Michael Jr. and William; and 15 beloved great-grandchildren. Jo was retired from Ma Bell and H&R Block. She always danced, even up to the last days. Her determination, thoughtfulness and caring gave the people that knew her a sense of joy and love. Viewing will be 9 a.m. July 18, 2014, with service starting at 11 a.m. at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez, Prescott. Reception to follow at the Hassayampa Inn in downtown Prescott. The family requests in lieu of flowers to donate to the American Heart Association or your local Humane Society, as these were some of Jo's favorite charities. Information provided by survivors.
