Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow, Winslow, Arizona Antimo DeAngelis February 23, 1920 - July 12, 2014 Funeral service for Antimo “Andy” DeAngelis will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Greer’s Mortuary Chapel, visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Desert View Cemetery. Antimo was born Feb. 23, 1920 in L’Aquila, Italy and entered into rest on July 12, 2014 in Winslow, AZ. He moved to Arizona in 1946 and went to work for the Railroad as a blacksmith, retiring in the mid 1970's. After leaving the Railroad he dedicated his time to running DeAngelis Fabric and Notions which he and his wife opened in 1968. He is survived by his brother Danny (Flossie) of Albuquerque, NM; sister Edith of Fullerton, CA and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Ella May; parents Salvatore and Antonia DeAngelis and brothers Rosindo & Geovanni.
