Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Wednesday, July 23, 2014 Royce Johnson, 65, lost his battle with cancer on June 24,2014 at his home with his wife. He is survived by Kathy (wife); Cliff and Joyce Johnson (parents); his brothers, Lanny Johnson (Meredith) Danny Johnson (Penny), Nick Johnson (Margaret); children, Kim Petty (David) Daleana Cherry (Kevin) Jerry Johnson, and Nancy Vellelos; grandchildren: Alyssa Bolinger, Shawn Bolinger, Amanda Mitchell, Naomi Cherry, Levi Cherry, Ashley Cherry, Taylor Cherry, Michael Cherry, Jeremy Johnson, Jenna Johnson, Lindsey Johnson, Savannah Felkins, Brittney Areola, Brandon Vellelos, and Bryce Vellelos. There are several great-grandchildren and four more on the way. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tracy Johnson; and his son, Patrick Felkins Royce was a rancher, hunter, and construction worker. He took a great deal of pride in his work. He had many friends that he loved and respected. He will be greatly missed. The Celebration of Life was held Saturday June 28, 2014 at his home and son’s home in Wheatfields, Globe, Ariz.
