Casa Grande Dispatch (AZ) - Saturday, September 1, 2001 Deceased Name: Josephine Fullen Josephine Fullen, 78, of Casa Grande died Aug. 27, 2001 in Casa Grande. The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel, with the Rev. Gonzalo Villegas officiating. Mrs. Fullen was born March 1, 1923 in Bisbee to Joseph and Isabelle (Ramirez) Rucastle. A lifelong Arizonan, she retired three years ago as a county hospital dietitian. She also was a professional seamstress and an excellent cook. She loved being a homemaker and doing crafts, winning purple ribbons at the Cochise County Fair every year she entered. She was pleasant, kind-hearted and a mentor to many. Survivors include two sons, Earl R. Fullen Jr. of Casa Grande and William "Willy" Fullen of Douglas; two daughters, Mary F. "Frankie" McMillen of Wyoming, Colo., and Sue Simmons of Show Low; two sisters, Mary Price of McNeal, Ariz., and Rose Shockley of McAlester, Okla.; 23 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Earl R. Fullen Sr.
