Douglas Dispatch (AZ) - Wednesday, February 22, 2012 Deceased Name: PEGGY HELEN VEGA September 13, 1925-February 16, 2012 Peggy Helen Vega passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the La Solana Care and Rehab center. Peggy was born September 13, 1925 in Douglas, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her husband Oscar M. Vega, son Oscar Vega, Jr. and brother Allen English. Peggy is survived by her son Teddy (Erma) Vega of Escondido, California. Grandchildren, Nick Vega, Ali Vega, Christine Vega, Teddy Michael Vega, Stevie Vega and Camille Vega. Sister Frankie (George) Diaber and Sister in law Frances English. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins including Tom English, Edward English, Breanne English, Donna English, Eric Del Grande, Jason English, Adam English, Edward English and Emma English. A Rosary for Peggy will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the St. Luke's Catholic Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. also at St. Luke's Church with Father Gilbert Malu Officiating. Burial of her ashes will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
