Douglas Dispatch (AZ) - Friday, December 7, 2007 Deceased Name: Francisco "Gordo" Vega November 13, 1981 - December 1, 2007 Francisco "Gordo" Vega passed away on December 1, 2007 at his home. Gordo was born on November 13, 1981 to Francisco and Ascencion Vega. He is preceded in death by his father Francisco Vega, mother Ascencion Vega, and brothers Ricky Vega and Francisco Vega. Surviving are his sisters Maria Salinas, Griselda Klenke, and brothers Pete Vega, Bobby Vega, George Vega and his fiance Ruth"Bety" Durazo. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Gordo was a local businessman but most of all was a loving son and brother. He will be greatly missed. Services for Gordo are as follows. Viewing will be on Friday, December 7, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the main chapel of Adair Douglas Funeral Chapel, 1860 8th St., Wake will follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 8, 2007 11:00 a.m. at the Douglas First Assembly of God, 1400 13th St. with Pastor Jose Felix officiating. Pallbearers will be Pete Vega, Bobby Vega, George Vega, Francisco Parra, Eric Parra, Hector Salinas, Pete Vega Jr., Matt Klenke, and Hector Salinas Jr. Honorary-Pallbearers will be Rene Verdugo, Daniel Moreno, Hector Martinez, Fernando Encinas, Jesus Gonzales, Gilberto Altamirano, Sergio Espinosa, Marcos Aguilar, Jose Aguilar, and Robert Encinas.
