HERNANDEZ, Luz

ARIZONA CITY - Luz Vega Hernandez, 76, of Arizona City died March 17, 2003 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center. The funeral will be in Mexico, with burial at Jardin Del Desierto Cemetery. Ms. Vega Hernandez was born May 19, 1926 in Mexico. She was a homemaker. Singing and cooking were her passions. She loved going to St. Helen's Catholic Church in Eloy. She had many friends at the senior center in Eloy. Survivors include two daughters, Hortencia Grabner of Arizona City and Maria Dolores Rios Vega of Mexicali, Baja California Norte, Mexico; a son, Juan Rios of Mexico City; a sister, Celia Vega Hernandez of San Luis, Sonora, Mexico; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Rios Rosales, and a son, Emilio Trejo. J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Casa Grande Chapel was in charge of local arrangements.
