The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, July 25, 2014 Dora M. Diaz died July 22, 2014, with her family by her side. She was born June 8, 1935, in Jerome Ariz., the daughter of Ramon and Agripina (Fraijo) Maldonada. Dora was 79 years old. Dora retired after 22 years from DES, were she served as a social worker. She was a long time member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. She loved to travel and spending time with her grandkids. Dora enjoyed gardening and nurturing her many flowers. Dora is survived by her sons, David (Kitty) of Prescott Valley, Tony (Darla) of Oklahoma, Daniel (Debbie) of Gilbert, Michael and Eddie; and her daughter, Theresa (John), all of Prescott; three sisters; one brother; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton in Prescott. A celebration of Dora's life will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 630 Park Ave., Prescott with inurnment at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 31, at Prescott National Cemetery.
