Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, July 23, 2014 - Dorothy Pearl Pope, loving sister, mother, grandma and great-grandma, will be dearly missed. Dorothy passed away July 19, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born in Sanco, Texas, to the late Manual and Anna Mae McCullough. Dorothy grew up in Robert Lee, Texas and Eunice, New Mexico then later moved to Cortez, Colo. in 1957. She finally settled in Lake Havasu City in 2000. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Maggie (Tom) Bailey, of Lake Havasu City; daughter-in-law, Linda Robinson of Farmington, N.M.; sisters, Betty McCalib and Vera (Charlie) Bettis, both of Eunice, N.M.; six grandchildren, Colin (Jen) Robinson and Kelli Robinson, both of Farmington, N.M., Dagin (Mary) Bailey of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Tara (Chris) Bersell of Denver, Pa., Bill (Tara) Robinson and Tim Robinson, both of Green River, Wyo.; twelve great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Robinson, Jimmy Wood, Lane David, Braedon Bailey, Brody Bailey, Peter Bersell, Trigg Bersell, Ashton Robinson, Kiera Robinson, Koby Robinson and Timothy Robinson as well as many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by both her parents, Manuel and Anna Mae McCullough; husbands, Lewis Robinson, Kelly Neville and Ray Pope; sisters, Maedell Welch and Dorothy McCaslin; sons, Harlen Robinson and Jimmy Robinson; grandson, Stacy Robinson and great-granddaughter, Michalyn Robinson. A service will be, Saturday July 26, at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home with visitation at 10 a.m. and services immediately following at 11 a.m. Arrangements were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
