MULLEN, JR., Joseph

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, July 30, 2014 Joseph Mullen Jr. of Prescott, Ariz., departed this life in Medford, Ore., on Thursday, July 3, 2014. He was born in Indiana on Feb. 19, 1919. He lived in Prescott for many years and owned Joe Mullen Construction. He built many homes and businesses in Prescott. He is preceded in death by his sister, Ione; son Jerry Mullen; and daughter Linda Tramantano. He is survived by his children Bonnie Mullen of Chino Valley, Ariz., Pam Vitagliano of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., and Mike and Patty Sahady of Oregon; and brothers Jim Mullen of Arkansas and Joey Mullen of South Dakota. He has 19 grandchildren, 25-plus great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild that is due in October 2014. His greatest pride and joy were his kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Yuma and Prescott. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
