SHARP, Patricia (Pat)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/01/2014 Patricia Maxwell Sharp, 79, of Springerville, died Saturday, July 26, 2014, in Mesa. She was born March 17, 1935, in Springerville, the daughter of Marion Franklin and Bessie Mae Jordan Maxwell. Pat was a retired nurse. Her greatest joy and passion was her family. She had eight children, 21 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. Pat loved fishing, crocheting, gardening and her community and the White Mountains. She was an avid reader and movie watcher. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Jennifer) LaRue of Eagar; daughters Cindy Bigelow of Mesa, Saphrona (Marty) Hetrick of Eagar, Penni (Jeff) Goodman of Clifton and Joel LaRue of Tempe; brothers Kenneth Maxwell of Sierra Vista and Dennis Maxwell of Peoria; and sister Neoma Smith of New Mexico. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Patricia Bigelow, sons Clifford Bigelow and Milford Bigelow and brother Marion Maxwell Jr. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at Burnham Mortuary, Eagar. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springerville Building, with visitation one hour prior.
