SATTERLEE, Ronald Mark (Ron)


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, August 01, 2014 Ronald Mark Satterlee, 57, passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2014. Ron was born June 1, 1957, in Burbank, Calif., to Jack and Shirley Satterlee. Ron was a gun enthusiast and a lifetime member of the NRA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life and enjoyed the great outdoors, especially his annual trips to the Black River and the Mohave Desert. Ron served in the Marines doing two tours of duty in Beruit, Lebanon, and was honorably discharged in 1984. He was very proud of his military service. Ron was married to his wife Denise for 22 years. Together they owned and operated Jackson Arms Indoor Shooting Range in South San Francisco before moving to Prescott, Ariz., in 2002. Ron was most recently employed by Sports South Inc. as an outside sales rep. Ron will be missed by his children, Ryan, a student at NAU, and Taylor, a student at UofA; his sister Kathleen (Steve) Roemer of Port Angeles, Wash.; brother James Satterlee of Port Angeles; mother Christine Booker of Pacifica, Calif.; and many extended family members and friends. Memorial services will take place 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at the VA Memorial Chapel, 500 Highway 89, Building 152, Prescott. A celebration of Ron's life will start at 3 p.m. at the Adult Center of Prescott, 1280 E. Rosser St., following the services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to support Ryan and Taylor's education at Chase Bank of Arizona- Ryan Satterlee, account ending in 1788. Information provided by survivors.
