The Payson Roundup, Payson, Arizona, Friday, August 01, 2014 Gary J. Piazza November 2, 1952 - July 28, 2014 Gary J. Piazza, age 61, passed away unexpectedly July 28, 2014 in Flagstaff. He was born Nov. 2, 1952 in Kings County, New York to Phil and the late Gloria Piazza. Gary enjoyed time spent with his family and friends as well as fishing and playing Poker and Black Jack. Just the day before his passing he had returned from a fantastic trip to Laughlin with his wife, Maryann. He worked at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts store in Payson for several years. He was an honest and hard-working man of great intestinal fortitude. In addition to his wife Maryann and father Phil, Gary is survived by his children, Joseph Piazza, Vincenzo Piazza, Michelle (Brian) Hulbert and Gina Piazza; brothers, Tom (Cheryl) Piazza and Mike Piazza; sisters, Linda (George) Hichborn and JoAnn Piazza; many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and his constant companion, his bull dog, “Bianca.” Besides his mother, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Phil. Friends are warmly invited to join Gary’s family for a memorial service on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd. in Peoria.
