Kent M. Shotwell, 75, passed away Aug. 3, 2014. Kent was born April 27,
1939 to the late Chauncey and Harriet Shotwell, in Battle Creek, Mich.
Kent and his wife, Barbara Kennedy-Shotwell was married in 1995, in Lake
Havasu City. Kent worked and retired from Steber Construction as a
cement finisher. He enjoyed music and had a western style. Kent was a
faithful man of God and felt destined to do the work of the Lord. He had
a mission to accomplish in his life and even felt compelled to create
his own heart rock ministry. He was a very giving, caring man and
enjoyed tending to those in need. He developed many friendships
throughout his life and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Shotwell of Lake Havasu City; sons,
Kent (Prishelle) Shotwell of Cottonwood, Ariz. and Kevin (Ceneth)
Shotwell of Perrysville, Ohio as well as his daughter, Kari (Greg)
Naarhuis of Nooksack, Wash. Kent also leaves behind 18 grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren and many beloved friends and extended family
including his beloved cats.
He was preceded in death by his parents Chauncy and Harriet Shotwell and
his brother, Ronald Shotwell.
Visitation for Kent will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Lietz-Fraze
Funeral Home. Funeral mass will commence at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady
of the Lake Roman Catholic Church with a reception immediately following
in the Holy Family Parish Center. Father Chauncey Winkler will be
officiating. Music will be rendered by Patrick Tiololo.
Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home &

Kent Moreland Shotwell, of Lake Havasu City, went to be with the Lord, Sunday August 3, 2014.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, her children & grandchildren, his children Kim Shotwell of AZ, Kevin & Cenith Shotwell of Perrysville, OH, Kari & Greg Maarhuis of Everson, WA, Kent & Prichele Shotwell of Cottonwood, AZ & 10 grandchildren.
He served the Lord by handing out heart shaped rocks with scriptures on them. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. No local services.
