Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on August 5, 2014 - Barbara "Bobbi" Olin passed away on July 26, 2014, after a brief but valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. Bobbi was born April 6, 1940, in Booneville, Ken. She and Don moved to Kingman in 1990 from California to be near her ailing parents and never left. Kingman became their home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Peggy Cox, as well as by her son, Brent Romero. Bobbi leaves behind her husband of 38 years, Donald Olin, sons: Jeffrey (Shelly) Romero and Keith Romero; and her brother Fred and sisters Margie, Annis, Lu, Donna, Wanda and Mary. She was a grandmother to: Marie, Casey, Kim, Sunnie, Jack, Josh, Rebecca, Desiree and Robert. Great-grandmother to: Abigail, Cadence and Everett. She was a friend to so many they are too numerous to list. Bobbi loved her family above all and was happiest when she was able to cook for us and spoil us all. She took pride in her home and loved planting new flowers in her beds every year, transforming it into a Better Homes and Gardens cover. A celebration of her life will be held at VFW 3036 on John L Avenue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23. It will be a potluck.
