The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/08/2014 Patricia M. Atkins of Show Low died Aug. 1, 2014, after a long illness. She was born Nov. 9, 1938, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., to George and Laura Calder. Pat loved her family, liked to travel and enjoyed quilting. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bob Atkins of Show Low; their three children, Debbi Crown of Denver, Colo., Joe Atkins of Surprise and Jill Riley of Peoria; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at the First Baptist Church on Central and Old Linden Road. The family requests memorial contributions in Pat’s name be sent to White Mountain Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1975, Lakeside, AZ 85929.
