Gregg Anthony Casillas age 36, of Globe, Arizona passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Scottsdale Healthcare-Osborn in Scottsdale, AZ.
He was born in Globe, Arizona on January 20, 1978 the son of Robert J. and Carmen (Escobedo) Casillas. He worked as a tire technician for an automotive company. Gregg is survived by his wife Kim Casillas, his children Shelby E. and Jacelyn Rae Casillas of Casa Grande, Bailee Rae and Bubba Tough Casillas of Texas, his parents Robert and Carmen Casillas of Globe, his siblings; Robert J. Casillas, Jr., Nicole Casillas, Shyann Rose Casillas and Ryan Joseph Perez.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. at
Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Miami. Rosary will follow at 9:30 A.M. Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:00 A.M.
Interment will follow the services at Globe Cemetery in Globe, AZ.

Gregg Anthony Casillas, 36, of Globe, passed away on Aug. 2, 2014. He was born in Globe, Ariz. on January 20, 1978. Gregg is the son of Carmen (Escobedo) Casillas and Robert Sr. Gregg was employed as a tire technician for several years, but his true love, other than his children, was his roping. As a respected team-roper, Gregg won several buckles and saddles over the years. He also loved camping, fishing, barbecuing and spending time with his family and friends.
Gregg was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend and was known for helping those in need and never expecting anything in return. Gregg’s passion was working with kids and teaching them to rope.
Gregg will be greatly missed and warmly remembered by all who knew him.
Gregg was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alfred and Hortensia “Billie” Escobedo; and paternal grandmother, Rosie Casillas.
Gregg leaves behind in loving memory his wife, Kimberly; four children, Shelby Elaine, Bailee Rae, Bubba Tough, and Jacelyn Rae; his dog, “Son”; his parents, Carmen and Robert Sr.; his brother, Robert Jr., (Toni); sister, Nicole; his nieces, Jenna, Micaela, Angelica and Alexis; his nephew, Robert III; his great niece, Kiera; his half-sister, Shyann and half-brother, Ryan Perez, along with several aunts and uncles and many, many friends.
Services for Gregg will take place on Aug. 16, 2014, at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 844 Sullivan St., Miami, Arizona.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m., with Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and Mass at 10 a.m.
Reception to follow at the Church Hall.
Funeral arrangements for Gregg Anthony “Gollo” Casillas are being handled by Lamont Mortuary.
