HOY, Irene A.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, August 08, 2014 Irene A. Hoy, 95, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014, in Scottsdale, Ariz. She was born July 16, 1919, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Her husband, Gerald D. Hoy, and her oldest daughter, Susan Murphy, predeceased her. Irene is survived by daughter Jerrene Carlson of Marana, daughter Cathy (Mark) Potter of Fountain Hills; and stepson Chris (Leslie) Hoy of Prescott. Irene has eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Irene lived in Prescott for 14 years. She was a champion bridge player and enjoyed many happy hours playing her favorite card game at the community center. Information provided by survivors.
