Going to Douglas

James Roberts formerly of Jerome, is now on his way to Douglas to accept a good position. He is the man who rid Jerome of the toughs who infested the town in its early days. He and his wife made a stop here to visit with her folks, she being a daughter of Wm. Kirkland. Mr and Mrs Roberts lost three children the same month in Jerome last year. That sad event probably had something to do with their decision to leave Jerome.
