Raymond LeRoy Dunn Jr., 76, previously of Kingman, passed away at his
home in Old Monroe, Mo., surrounded by family on Thursday, June 19,
2014.
Raymond was born in Canton, Ohio, on Feb. 23, 1938, to Raymond LeRoy
Dunn Sr. and Arline May Dunn (Nee: Diekman).
Raymond served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1959 and moved to
Arizona in 1965. He was a member of Eagles Lodge No. 3744. He loved his
cowboy hat and boots, crossword puzzles, playing cards and listening to
classic country-western music.
Ray also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Many of his grandchildren have
fond memories of his lively tall tales, hilarious impressions and
pancake breakfasts.
Raymond was preceded in death by both parents and his brother Larry
Dunn.
He is survived by his sister, Delyte Crowe of Tennessee; his six
children: Donald Dunn of Kingman, Gary (Kelly) Dunn of Old Monroe, Mo.,
Barbie (Philip) Parsons of Buckeye, Patrick Dunn of Kingman, Colleen
Faucher of Kingman, and Ronald (Dawn) Dunn of Victorville, Calif.; 21
grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service for Raymond at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 14, 2014
at the Elks Lodge on Gates Avenue.
