Sam "Rusty' Bridges passed away July 26, 2014. He was born to Benny and
LaVern Bridges on August 2, 1956, in Tucson.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Christine; his children, Richard
Wright, Amber Lusk and Joe Bridges; granddaughters, Jeddy Wright and
Ryelee Lusk; brother, Johnny Bridges; nephews, Ryan Bridges, Casy
Bridges and Richard Serrano; nieces, Colleen McGrew, Courtney Shields
and Sharlene Bridges; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rusty moved to Kingman in 1965 and loved playing baseball. He played
shortstop in Little League through high school and on into adult
softball. He was a welder pipe fitter at Duval. He later went to work
for General Cable and finally retired from the state of Arizona highway
maintenance and construction.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, in Mountain View
Cemetery, 1301 Stockton Hill Road, Kingman.
