Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow, Winslow, Arizona Robert W. Sweetland December 17, 1938 - July 28, 2014 Robert W. Sweetland passed away on July 28, 2014 at the age of 75. He was born and raised in Michigan. After serving in the Army from 1956 to 1959 he returned to Michigan and eventually opened a furniture store. He subsequently moved to Winslow and in 1978 opened Sweetland Furniture Mfg. where he made and sold furniture up until his passing. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathy; his children, Dan and Jeff Sweetland; daughter, Shelly Sweetland-Hill (Jeff); sisters, Dorothy Pollman and Marilyn Dumond; 2 granddaughters, several nieces and nephews all of Michigan . He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton Sweetland and Marie Rose Dean. A Celebration of Life for his Family and close friends will be held at a later date.
