Emily Ann Jarnagin graduated from this earthly life and returned to her Heavenly home on Aug. 6, 2014.
She was born on Jan. 15, 1938, to Marvin Randolph Jarnagin and Bernardine Louise Nay Jarnagin in Phoenix. She lived in Glendale and went to Glendale High School.
She married Bill Boen and had three children, Cynthia Ann, Duane Lee and Janice Kay Boen.
She worked at various jobs and then for Rogers Corporation in Chandler, where she retired after 20 years of employment.
She then moved to Indiana to be close to her daughter and son and his family.
She missed her beautiful Arizona desert and moved back and lived in Glendale for a short time and then moved to Wickenburg in 2003. She moved to Lyman, Utah, in 2007 and then back to Wickenburg in 2011.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved serving by teaching the primary children and as a family history consultant at the LDS Family History Center. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Emily Ann is survived by her children, Cynthia Ann Boen of Glendale, Duane Lee Boen of Colorado Springs, and Janice Kay Boen of Phoenix; brothers, Marley Jarnagin of South Weber, Utah, and Randy Jarnagin of Wickenburg; and sister, Peggy Van Dyke of Roy, Utah.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Marvin and Bernardine Jarnagin; and her older sister, Marveen Jarnagin.
