MARSOM, Ed P.


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, August 13, 2014 Ed P. Marsom, 83, passed away Aug. 9, 2014, in Norman, Okla. He was born March 31, 1931, in Detroit, Mich., to Ed P. Marsom Sr. and Rachel (McIntosh) Marsom. He graduated from Phoenix North High where he was an all-star basketball player. He served in the Navy as a Seabee in the Korean Conflict. In 1982, he retired after 30 years with Mountain Bell. Ed moved from Arizona to Oklahoma City in 2003. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Frances E. Marsom; four children, Cheryl Adams and husband Ron, Phil Marsom and wife Jo, Cliff Marsom, and Teri O’Dell and husband Dee; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Reynolds. A Rosary will be held Aug. 15 at St. Mark Catholic Church. A Mass will be held Aug. 16 at St. Mark Catholic Church.
