The Payson Roundup, Payson, Arizona, Tuesday, August 12, 2014 Richard James Tucker U.S. Veteran February 28, 1951 - August 4, 2014 Richard James Tucker, born Feb. 28, 1951, passed away in his home Monday, Aug. 4, 2014. He was born to Jerry and Wanda Tucker who both preceded him in death along with granddaughter, Hannah Caldwell. Richard is survived by his children: Andrea (Jason) Caldwell, Ryan J. Tucker and Jeremy A. Tucker; brothers, Kenneth and Robert Tucker; and sister, Teri Peterson; along with five grandchildren. Richard served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. His biggest love, alongside his family, was music. He was an accomplished musician and has played with numerous bands throughout the Rim Country entertaining many. Services were held Sunday, Aug. 10 at Gisela Cemetery with family and friends sending him off to the big band in the sky.
