Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Wednesday, August 13, 2014 Thalia Livengood, 91, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014. She was born on Aug. 27, 1922 in Miami, Ariz., and attended school in Globe, Ariz. She lived in Globe for many years, then moved to Phoenix, where she worked at Motorola. She later worked as a cook at Westwood Christian School, and at AIBI. She was a member of Christ Church for 45 years and her life was devoted primarily to Jesus Christ, and then to her large family, which included the many who needed a spiritual mother. Her life has been an example to others of what a selfless life can accomplish. Thalia is survived by her children, Neva Sosh, Cheryl Northern, David Livengood, Alana Levy, Daniel Livengood, Donald Livengood, John Livengood, Doug Livengood, Patricia Roberts and Angie Murphy; brothers, Thomas Hill, Clarence Hill, and sister Vivian Mayo; 35 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, R. Billy Livengood; parents, DeWitt and Georgia Hill; children, Berl Kent Livengood, Darrell Lee Livengood, Denise Darlene Livengood, Denny Paul Livengood, and Billy Joe Livengood; son in law Ray Sosh; and grandchildren Darrell Livengood and Djana Danelle Sosh. Visitation was held Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Roa., Peoria, AZ.
