Lamont Mortuary of Globe, Globe, Arizona Seth Anthony Lopez , passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. He was 26. A visitation and a memorial services will be announced at a later date. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Wednesday, August 20, 2014 Seth Anthony Lopez was born on June 23, 1988 in Miami, Ariz. He entered into rest on Aug. 12, 2014 in Safford, Ariz. Seth loved to make people laugh and was great at impressions. He was friendly and outgoing and never met a stranger. He loved basketball, music and Maui, Hawaii. He was hard-working, loyal and very stubborn at times. He was very protective of his family, especially his sisters. Seth met the love of his life, Sophia Morales, when they were 17 years old. They had their dream wedding in Maui, Hawaii in July 2012. They enjoyed taking their yearly trips to Hawaii and Six Flags. They loved going out to eat (especially hot wings), going to the movies, and spending their free time together at their home in Mesa. Seth is survived by his wife, Sophia Lopez (Morales); his parents, Tony and Annette Lopez; his sisters, Shelby Haines (Charles), Stacy Horlacher (Timothy), and Sarah Lopez; his in-laws, Steve and Suzy Morales; brothers-in-law, Sammy and Stevie Morales; his sister-in-law, Amber Morales; his nieces, Abigail, Caitlyn, Izabelle, Kirsten and Ayanna; and his nephews Nash, Solomon, Junior and Gabriel. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Billie and Manuel Acevedo, paternal grandmother Socorro Lopez, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Seth was preceded in death by his sister, Caasi, and his paternal grandfather, Alfonso Lopez. Seth was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed, but the wonderful memories we have of him will live in our hearts forever. Seth thought of Maui, Hawaii as his little piece of heaven and requested that when he died his ashes be scattered on the island. We will honor his memory by having Maui be his final resting place. May he rest in peace.
