DEJARDINS, Michael Gerard

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/15/2014 Michael Gerard Dejardins, 46, passed from this life into the arms of his heavenly Father Aug. 1, 2014. He was surrounded by his family who were praying and singing hymns until he passed away at Hospice of the Valley in Tempe. Michael was born Oct. 27, 1967, to Leona and Maurice Dejardins in Massena, N.Y. “We will remember him for his sense of humor, recalling good times and memories as he was growing up.” He is survived by his mother, Leona Chambers, and his stepfather, George Chambers; sisters Brenda Hall and Susan Dejardins; brothers Randy Desjardins and Maurice Desjardins Jr.; and nine nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Dejardins, grandparents and several aunts and uncles. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Scottsdale. Michael’s family would like to thank all those who sent cards and flowers. “Most importantly, we want to thank everyone for their prayers for us during this difficult time. A special thank you to our church families for your prayers. Thank you all for your kindness and thoughtfulness.”
