(From Tuesday's Daily)
The remains of P. C. Aston, who died in Dewey on Saturday, were interred here yesterday.
The deceased was 77 years of age and was a native of Indiana. He had lived in Arizona for thirty years, twenty of which were spent in Flagstaff, where he followed his vocation as a saddler. He was generally known as 'Uncle Dick,' and was a man of wide popularity and sterling character.
He has been in failing health for nearly three years, and his sister, Mrs. Mary A. Jordan, came from Colorado about two and a half years ago, to take care of him. He died after an illness of three weeks, from an attack of erysipelas.
He was a widower and had no children.
His sister, who is connected with the Indian school at Mayer, returned there yesterday.
