The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, August 17, 2014 Howard Pribbeno Jr., 94, of Paradise Valley, Ariz., passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at his home. Mr. Pribbeno was a retired rancher and real estate broker and investor. Howard served in the Navy during WWII before embarking into ranching and raising registered Black Angus near Limon, Colo. His real estate career stared with selling his ranch and moving to Ashland, Ore., and then on to Arizona in the mid-1960s. He owned and operated Shadron Reality in Tucson, Ariz., for a number of years before retiring in Carefree, Prescott and Scottsdale. Howard is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary, their three children James Pribbeno, Lorie Avery and Jeannie Cook, along with their spouses Su Mae Pribbeno, Ed Avery and Richard Cook, and three grandchildren, Jack Ewing, Tiffany Ewing and Jennifer Pribbeno. A memorial service will be Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at the Veterans Cemetery in Prescott, Ariz. Information provided by survivors.
