Carmen Pereyda Navarro, 78, passed away on Aug. 14, 2014 at Symphony of Mesa in Mesa.
She was a resident of Mesa at the time of her passing. She was born and raised in Globe.
She leaves behind her daughters: Josie Ochoa, Vangie Guevara, and Barbara Perez; sons: Albert Tarango, Mitchell, Joey, Ernie, and Lupe Perez; and partner Eliborio Vizcarra, all of Mesa.
Carmen was a loving grandmother to 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
She is also survived by her sisters: Rosie Valenzuela of Globe, Isabel Navarro of Mesa, Della Navarro of Globe, and Stella Zaragoza of Claypool; brothers: Nacho of Phoenix, and Lupe, Johnny, and Joey Navarro, all of Globe.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and Guadalupe Navarro; her sister, Angie Salas; and brother, Manuel Navarro.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at 8 a.m. with a rosary at 8:30 a.m. at Melcher Mortuaries Chapel of the Roses, 43 S. Stapley Drive in Mesa. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 141 N. Macdonald St. in Mesa.
