Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Marty McNeil (February 4, 1961 - August 21, 2014) Marty McNeil passed away and reunited with his Dad and Brother, August 21st, 2014 at his home in Taylor, Arizona, after fighting Colon Cancer for the last four years. Marty was born February 4, 1961 to Lynn and Marilyn McNeil. He worked for the Navajo County Road Department for twenty-nine years and the Taylor Fire Department for over twenty years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing and spending time with his children and grandchildren, fighting wildfires and riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Marty was the beloved husband and best friend of Ava McNeil, an ever-loving Father and role model to Kristyn, Austin, Valerie, Lynessa and Jade McNeil, and the “superhero” Grandfather to Trett and Crycus McNeil. He was a good and loving son, a caring brother and a dear friend to many. Marty is preceded in death by his Father: Lynn McNeil and his Brother: Frank McNeil. There will be a viewing for Marty McNeil on Friday 29, 2014 from 5-8 pm at his home: 225 S. 600 E., Taylor, Arizona, casual dress. His Funeral will be Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 12 noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taylor Stake Center. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the Funeral. Interment will follow at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery, Taylor Arizona. The Family of Marty McNeil request that any family and friends with motorcycles, follow in the procession, to the Cemetery. Arrangements for Marty McNeil are being handled by Silver Creek Mortuary.
