GARDUNO, Lucas Albert


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Saturday, August 23, 2014 Lucas Albert Garduno, 27, of Cheyenne, Wyo., died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, in Cheyenne after an extended illness. He was born June 10, 1987, in Prescott, Ariz. He served in the United States Air Force with two tours in Iraq. Luke is survived by his mother, Theresa Garduno of Cheyenne; father John (Karen) Garduno of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; wife Liza Garduno; and two daughters, Breseis and Skylar Garduno, all of Georgia; two sisters, Jessica Kent and Ashley Garduno; grandparents Sarah and Dave Litka; aunts and uncles Judy (Fred) Williams, Thomas (Michele) Pendergraft, Hilda, Diana, Richard, and Vivian Garduno, and Rudy Litka; four nephews, Keaton, Tucker, Zak and Eli; and numerous cousins. Lucas also had two stepbrothers, Matt (Joanna) Sanders and Jim (Theresa) Sanders; a stepsister, Kari Sanders (Clarke); and six step-nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury St., Prescott, Ariz. Funeral Liturgy will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at St. Mary's Cathedral in the side chapel in Cheyenne, Wyo. Interment of his urn will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Thermopolis.
