The Payson Roundup, Payson, Arizona, Tuesday, August 19, 2014 Linda Keeney July 17, 1946 - August 12, 2014 Linda Keeney, age 68, went to Heaven on Aug. 12, 2014. Linda was born July 17, 1946 in Maddock, N.D. to the late John and Olga Kopperdahl. She grew-up on a farm there and graduated from Maddock High School. A hard-working and honest woman, Linda raised her three boys alone. Sweet and kind, she never met a stranger. Linda fed a lot of people in Payson through her culinary skills at La Casa and most recently at the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino. When not working, Linda enjoyed anything that had to do with sports, especially Arizona teams. Most of all, though, she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She is survived by her three sons, Mark, Scott and J. R. (Lani) Keeney; her grandchildren, Dylan, Zane, Taylor, Ely and Nolan Keeney; her sister, Betty (Verdale) Anderson and her brother, Gary Kopperdahl. Friends are invited to an informal gathering to share memories with Linda’s family from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 at the Community Room at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, 901 S.
