AIELLO, Anthony (Tony)


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, August 24, 2014 Anthony "Tony" Aiello, 79, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born Friday, Aug. 24, 1934, in Pittsburg, Calif., to Antonio and Concetta Aiello. He joined the Navy in 1952. He married Barbara Lee Gutridge on Aug. 29, 1954. He was honorably discharged as a MM2 in 1956. He worked as a heating and air conditioning installer, a dental lab technician and a computer analyst. He was a golfer and a wood carver. He was president of the Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Prescott. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Aiello; children Anthony James Aiello and Donna Marie Aiello; grandchildren Anthony Joseph Aiello, Michelle Leanne Graf, Dillon John Wilson and Dakota John Wilson; great-grandchild Lilliana Marie Solis; two brothers and one sister. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Ave., Prescott, Ariz.
